India reports 90,928 new Covid-19 cases, Omicron tally at 2,630
NEW DELHI: India reported 90,928 new Covid-19 cases and the Omicron variant tally stands at 2,630 cases in the last 24 hours, across 24 states and UTs, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra recorded the maximum number of 797 cases, followed by Delhi at 465, Rajasthan and Kerala 236 and 234 cases. it added 90,928 cases to take its total caseload to 35,109,286 from 35,018,358, an increase of 0.26%. with 325 new fatalities, the country’s Covid death toll has climbed to reach 482,876 with 325 daily fatalities, or 1.38 per cent of total confirmed infections, the data stated.
